Why profile?
Whether you are using stock skate blades or custom blades profiling is a critical step to enhancing performance.Stock blades come with a stock profile, not one matched to your skating style, foot size, position and ability.Understanding profiling and how it impacts skating performance is critical to having an edge.
What is a Radius Profile?
A profile is a type of radius that you make on the blade to get the right glide surface. It makes you more balanced on the ice and helps you make fast turns, start, and stops. With a profile on your skates you will have the same type of grip, even when you lean forward to accelerate or lean backwards to make a turn.
