I would grade the banknote as very fine with all the details being well preserved. The note is soiled with multiple vertical folds and horizontal folds. It has overall wrinkling and darkening along some of the folds especially on the back. The note has no split or tears and the corners are intact but show rounding. The edges are intact and show some roughness with minor nicks at the ends of the folds. The note has no pinholes and no graffiti.     Description:
    This is a nice very fine banknote from the Netherlands. This is the 18 May 1945 issue Muntbiljet or Currency Note 2 1/2 Gulden. The note, which is dark blue or black on pink underprint, shows the image of Queen Wilhelmina, within an oval, in the center of the front with the denomination on both sides of the image. The front has the denomination in numerals at the four corners, one signature, the date, and the serial number stamped twice in red. The back has the same color scheme as the front and shows the crowned arms of the Netherlands in the center and the denomination in letters at either side of the arms. The word NETHERLAND is prominently displayed on top the back. This banknote is well printed and nicely margined both on the front and back. This particular note has the serial number Q178308 which is displayed twice in red on the front. The note has no watermark that we could find. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
